London Tubewalkers

The next Tube Walk will take place on Friday 18th April, aka Good Friday! We will be walking from Turnham Green to Chiswick Park. Will we have an Easter egg hunt along the way? Come along and find out! (But we probably won't.)

Meet at Turnham Green station at 2pm and we'll depart no later than 2.30.

Hello! It's (nearly) time for another Tube Walk! The next one will take place on Sunday 16th February, and we will be walking from Tower Gateway to Shadwell. Meet at Tower Gateway at 2pm and we'll set off as soon as everyone's arrived. See you there? Unless the weather's horrible, of course!

In astonishing news, today is the 20th anniversary of the inaugural Tube Walk! Thanks to all of you for coming to Tube Walks over the years and helping to keep this fine project going. I'm really glad it exists.

We are certainly not finished yet, so the next Tube Walk will take place on Saturday 12th October. We will be walking from Tooting Bec to Tooting Broadway, taking in all aspects of Tooting along the way. Come along if you can! Meet at Tooting Bec station from 2pm for a prompt start no later than 2.30.

The next Tube Walk will be soon! To be precise, it will be on Sunday 30th June. We will be walking from Temple to Blackfriars. Meet at Temple station from 2pm, and we'll set off no later than 2.30! (Probably earlier if I know who's coming.) Hope to see you there.

Hello! I've picked a date for the next Tube Walk: it will be on Saturday 23rd March. We will be walking from Sudbury Town to Alperton. A good chance to catch up on Alperton if you missed it the first time round in, er, 2005 I think... Meet at Sudbury Town station from 2pm for a 2.30 start! I'll post a reminder much nearer the time.

Sorry this date isn't convenient for everyone, and that obviously some of you are still unable to attend any walks at all. The project continues though, and I'm hoping to get a few more walks in the calendar this year as we approach the alarming prospect of the 20th anniversary of Tube Walks...

Hello! The next Tube Walk is coming up this weekend on Sunday 16th July, and we'll be walking from Stratford to Stratford International. Hope to see you there - let me know if you're planning to come!

Meeting point: 2pm at the southern entrance (near the DLR platforms and opening out onto the bus station), ideally near the Newham sign which you can see in this photo on Wikipedia

Hello! The next Tube Walk will be from Stratford to Stratford International and it's quite likely to be on 16th July, to coincide with a London visit by the Navigator! If that doesn't work out, we'll definitely fit in another one quite soon.

Hello Tube Walkers! I would like to propose a Tube Walk on Saturday 12th November, from Stanmore to Canons Park. This will probably be the only Tube Walk in 2022, so do come if you can! 2pm for a 2.30 start.

(If you're keen to come but that date doesn't work, the 5th or 19th November are possibilities. Let me know before I cross-post to Facebook! 12th would be ideal though.)
